The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria partnership has saved over 65 million lives. In 2023 alone, the Global Fund reached record numbers of people with lifesaving tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS treatment. These diseases are preventable and treatable. Yet poverty worsens the health inequities that make these diseases deadly. As the U.S. foreign aid system faces unprecedented strain, the Global Fund is even more important.
