You can make an impact this year!
Join us in taking action in 2026 for your community and communities everywhere. Let’s raise our voices to ensure that everyone can meet their basic human needs.

Elections are one of the most important times to make our values visible. Conversations happening now shape what people believe is possible and what our leaders prioritize after the election. As harmful narratives about poverty grow louder, RESULTS advocates will respond by sharing our stories, strengthening relationships, engaging our communities, and making our values visible in the places that matter most.
Every action you take helps counter harmful narratives today while building the community power we’ll need to influence the next Congress. Explore the resources below to get started.
When you take an action to connect with people or organizations in your community, please let us know so we can learn from your example.
Use tools to help you reach out to people in your community. Each time we organize others into action, we build momentum to end poverty.

Media is a powerful tool in educating, influencing, and holding lawmakers accountable. RESULTS volunteers have long generated hundreds of media pieces each year urging Congress to prioritize ending poverty.
If you’ve recent gotten a media piece published on one of our issues, please let us know… and congratulations!
RESULTS’ strength has always rested in the relationships we build with members of Congress and their staff. By meeting with them regularly, we can inform and influence their decisions on policies that will bring an end to poverty.
Did you recently meet with your member of Congress on one of our issues? Please let us know. Thank you for your advocacy.
