Global Weekly Update December 6, 2010
Take Action: Schedule Meetings Now with New and Old Reps. and Senators
Congress will soon by on recess until mid-January. Now is the time to schedule face-to-face meetings with your members. For those with new reps. or senators (and there are almost 125 new members!), get in early and teach them about RESULTS and global poverty — you’ll probably be the first ones they’ll hear from about it!

Celebrate 2010 and 30 Years of RESULTS With Us: Joint Conference Call Dec. 11
What better way to wrap-up the year than joining your global and domestic partners for our joint conference call on Saturday, December 11? We’ll come together to reflect on successes of 2010 and gear-up for challenges in 2011! RESULTS founder, Sam Daley-Harris, will join us to provide inspiration and tips for our work in 2011. You may find these two stories by Sam interesting to read before the call (story 1 and story 2). The call is at 2:00 pm ET on this Saturday, December 11. To join, call (888) 409-6709.
Also, it’s not too early to do some end-of-the-year housekeeping. Have you reported all of your great advocacy actions for 2010? Have a quick conversation with your group leader now so you can get your year-end benchmarking accomplished well before the holidays fully hit.
