Today is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Today is day for reflection, and if you read this blog, you are already aware of extreme poverty and just how lucky we are to live in the U.S.

But there are women around the world — and we must never forget, also in our country — who suffer from violence every day. November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women also launches the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence, which runs through December 10, Human Rights Day.
