The Together Women Rise Advocacy Chapter July webinar presented another valuable opportunity to advocate to our members of Congress for global child survival. Rise advocates continued to take action in support for robust funding of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and learn about the historic pledge made at the Gavi Replenishment Conference in Paris last month. In a show of clear support, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden announced via video the Biden Administration’s pledge of a record $1.58 billion over five years to Gavi. Your commitment to child survival and vaccine equity has made history through your advocacy actions, and your continued advocacy will ensure that Congress delivers on this historic pledge.
