The Reach Act: We Need to Keep Going in 2016We ended 2015 with a fantastic 27 Republicans and 35 Democrats on H.R.3706, the House version of the Reach Act. And we ended 2015 with four Democrats and four Republicans on S.1911, the Senate version of the legislation. We ended 2015 with approximately 200 pieces of media on the Reach Act, including around 15 pieces being published over the holidays. Incredible? You bet! But we must keep going. The Reach Act will guide us in ending preventable maternal and child deaths by 2035. Maternal and child health needs our energy and focus. Here's how you can take action here at the start of a brand new year: 1. Call your representative about the Reach Act. 2. Or write your senators! 3. Or even write your local paper!
