Together Women Rise (TWR) members — you have demonstrated your power, influence, and impact in making the world a better place for women and girls worldwide. Join us on Tuesday, September 24 at 8:30 PM ET to learn how you can continue to make change and maximize your impact through advocacy.

You will hear from guest speakers including current members of the Together Women Rise Advocacy Chapter, Rise grantees, and even from the office of a member of Congress. Advocacy changes things, and our action is critical to creating the environment through which our Rise grantees can thrive. 

• Emphasize the contribution that volunteer advocates can make towards ending poverty through advocacy  

• Re-engage current Rise mentees, invite them to listen to speakers who will emphasize why advocacy is important, how it influences our members of Congress and helps create an environment for grantees to thrive

• Introduce new people to the TWR Advocacy chapter, learn about our advocacy and coaching model, how we make an impact on global poverty issues to bring about gender equity 

• Hear from current chapter members — particularly those who joined between January 2024 to now 

• Give some cumulative results of our advocacy/long-term impact 

• Preview actions over the rest of the year — issues and focus areas (global nutrition, diseases of poverty)
