We cannot stand for this.

Yesterday the White House told reporters it hopes to slash funding from foreign aid and our fight against global poverty.

Meanwhile, Congress is gearing up to attack critical nutrition and health care programs here in the United States.

These are not just line items in a budget. Gutting these programs would mean more young girls never see the inside of a classroom. More families won’t be able to put food on the table. More children will never see their 5th birthdays.

It’s up to Congress to decide how to spend our national budget. What they decide will depend on what they hear from you.
