Combatting racism against AAPI communities

March 29, 2021

RESULTS stands with the Asian American Pacific Islander community and our AAPI staff, volunteers, and partners. We know that the structural violence of poverty and of racism have shared roots. We’re committed to doing our part to end oppression in all its forms.

We all have a role to play in stopping hate and racism against Asian Americans, and RESULTS has collected some recommendations and resources. First and foremost, follow the expertise, leadership, and guidance of AAPI-led organizations and community networks. In all our advocacy and partnerships, we need to center the leadership of communities most directly affected.

There is a regular caucus for Black, Indigenous, and people of color within the RESULTS network. This is an informal, confidential space reserved for RESULTS advocates who are part of communities directly affected by racism. Please contact Yolanda Gordon [email protected] for log-in details.
