Join us in DC for the 2016 International Conference! Watch for more information as plans unfold. The Reach Act: Goals for the End of MarchWe currently have 27 Republicans and 35 Democrats on H.R.3706, the House version of the Reach Act. We need to get to 100 cosponsors with a balance of Republicans and Democrats, by the end March. We now have 10 consponsors on S.1911, the Senate version of the Reach Act. We want to get to 25 by the end of March. And we have generated over 200 pieces of media in 36 states on the Reach Act. We want to get media in all 50 states as soon as we can. How can you help us get to the 100/25/50 goals? 1. Call your representative about the Reach Act. Ask Democrats to bring along a Republican colleague. 2. Or write your senators! Again, ask Democrats to bring along a Republican colleague. 3. Or even write your local paper! Then share what you get published with your legislators and on social media. TB Letter UpdateYour quick action helped mobilize at least 14 senators (final list pending) on a letter, led by Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), carrying a critical message to the President to propose funding for the new MDR-TB plan. This letter will undoubtedly help us with our appropriations work. Well done! Appropriations: What You Need to KnowYou'll be hearing more about our appropriations work – and taking our requests to our legislators in face-to-face meetings – on our February national webinar for all grassroots working on our global campaigns. In the meantime . . .
