You Did It! 96 Representatives Signed the FY11 Global Fund Letter to Obama! 
Congratulations! In a little over a week, RESULTS rallied to get 93 representatives — more than 20 percent of the House — to sign a letter, initiated by Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), to President Obama calling on him to provide $1.75 billion for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria in his fiscal year 2011 budget. Civil Society Responds to Obama’s Global Health Initiative
Six months ago President Obama announced a new Global Health Initiative, stating “the world is interconnected, and that demands an integrated approach to global health.” RESULTS has joined with a diverse coalition of organizations to call on the Obama administration to make good on its commitment and deliver a bold and well-funded Global Health Initiative. Thanks to All Who Made Our 2009 National Outreach-Stand Up Event a Success
We are pleased to announce that more than 43 different groups around the world held Outreach Stand Up events on Saturday which to say the least is a stunning and truly momentous show of support. It’s clear that we are all growing this movement day-by-day but for this event to be truly successful, follow-up is key. Read more about how to make the most of this exciting event!
