As a RESULTS advocate, you can make a difference right now.

At RESULTS we believe that all people should have a safe place to live, food on the table, and equal access to economic opportunities to grow and thrive.

Raise your voice and have a say in the policies that impact millions of people here in the U.S. and around the world.

As an advocate, you will work with political leaders to help pass policies that work for everyone – related to affordable housing, income inequality, food security, global health, and more.

Join an orientation and learn more about how you can put your values into action! You will learn about volunteering, our advocacy model, current policies we are working on, and meet some of our staff. After the orientation, we will help you get connected to a volunteer program in your community.

RESULTS is a nationwide network of volunteers in the U.S. and a global movement of people and organizations working against poverty.

No matter where in the U.S. you live, you will be able to join our community of chapters and advocates around the country. We have volunteers in all 50 states working together to influence our government around poverty issues.

A better future is possible. RESULTS advocates are coming together every day to make a difference. Every person in our movement matters. Through the power of our community, we support each other to make big changes.

Together, we are all organizing to influence and pass policies with our governments that will bring an end to poverty.

RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people. Together we use our voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty. Poverty cannot end as long as oppression exists. We commit to opposing all forms of oppression, including ableism, ageism, biphobia, classism, colonialism, homophobia, racism, religious discrimination, sexism, transphobia, white saviorism, and xenophobia.

At RESULTS we pledge to create space for all voices, including those of us who are currently experiencing poverty. We will address oppressive behavior in our interactions, families, communities, work, and world. Our strength is rooted in our diversity of experiences, not in our assumptions.

With unearned privilege comes the responsibility to act so the burden to educate and change doesn’t fall solely on those experiencing oppression. When we miss the mark on our values, we will acknowledge our mistake, seek forgiveness, learn, and work together as a community to pursue equity.

There are no saviors — only partners, advocates, and allies. We agree to help make the RESULTS movement a respectful, inclusive space.

A better future is possible. RESULTS advocates are coming together every day to make a difference. Every person in our movement matters. Through the power of our community, we support each other to make big changes.

As a RESULTS advocate you will dedicate 4-6 hours / month taking advocacy actions like:

  • Speaking with policymakers about problems in your community and solutions that can make a difference
