April 2026: Congress must protect global health and education funding

With House “Dear Colleague” letters now closed for fiscal year 2027 appropriations, this is a key moment to thank Representatives who showed leadership. It’s also a good time to follow up with those who may have missed the opportunity. We now take our FY27 requests to the Senate! Take your Senators our appropriations requests for global health, global education, and U.S. housing. Budget deadlines draw near. Appropriations forms are available from your Senate offices. (Senate “Dear Colleague” letters are expected soon.) Use this Action Sheet to guide your next steps. (Word version).

April 2026: Senate must expand affordable housing through FY27 appropriations

Millions of working Americans struggle to access affordable housing. Yet Housing Choice Vouchers reach only a fraction of those in need. As the Senate begins shaping fiscal year 27 appropriations, this is a key moment to engage your Senators on housing affordability and homelessness. Urge them to support expanded housing voucher funding as budget deadlines draw near. Use this Action Sheet as a guide. (Word version)
