September 2022 Global Poverty Policy Forum: All Children Learning - A Call to Action on Global Basic Education

On this month’s Global Policy Forum, Global Education Policy Manager, Dr. Meg Gardinier, discussed the current challenge of the global learning crisis, share insights from the recent Transforming Education Summit at the United Nations, and discuss ways that the U.S. Government is providing aid and support to achieve global Sustainable Development Goal 4. Meg also discussed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global learning loss and why we must act now to urge our elected officials to do more, including re-authorizing the READ Act, so that all children, particularly the most marginalized children can fulfil their human right to quality education.
