April 2023: Write senators to prioritize global poverty in FY24 approprations
This month, the 118th Congress is still considering its spending plan for fiscal year 2024, with inputs still happening in the Senate. However time is running short. Maternal and child health and nutrition, basic education, global tuberculosis . . . these issues should be at the fore of the U.S.’s focus in global health and development. Each of these areas, if neglected, drive and exacerbate poverty around the world. We must speak up and a make a difference. Write the Senate today about these priorities, and inspire and equip your fellow advocates to do the same. (Word version)
Use our Action Workshop Agenda (Word version) to host a meeting where you can inspire others to action in your community.
