Nutrition is a human right! We are near the finish line, on the Global Malnutrition Prevention and Treatment Act, however there is still more work to do to bring an end to global malnutrition. At our September webinar, guest speaker Dorothy Monza from our RESULTS Global Policy team presented a deep dive on the effects of stunting and wasting, the current context of malnutrition amidst various global crises, and the ways we must advocate from an equity lens.
Poor nutrition also means learning loss! At this webinar, we continued our advocacy action and reached out to Senators to request their co-sponsorship of the reauthorizing of the READ (Reinforcing Education Accountability in Development) Act.
