DFW/RESULTS Webinar: No Global Response! (Dec. 2020)

Here is the recording for the December 2020 DFW/RESULTS webinar. We were joined by RESULTS VP for Policy and Advocacy, John Fawcett. He delivered a great overview of the campaigns we’ll work on in 2021 on global education and nutrition. There is great alignment with DFW’s mission.

We also ended the webinar by encouraging all DFW advocates to write a letter to the editor over the holidays using this online action. The US still has not committed to a global response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Without a robust global response the US will continue to be at risk of COVID re-infection and the global economy will not recover, which means our own economy will suffer. More importantly, women, girls, children, and families will continue to suffer and lose their lives at unacceptable levels. Put your passion into words and write a letter to the editor calling on your members of Congress to ensure the US responds globally to COVID-19 in the new year.
