The Anti-Oppression (AO) Learning Community offers a brave space where no matter where you are in your understanding of anti-oppression topics, you are welcome. We cannot end poverty without addressing oppression. This space allows us to reflect upon and change the implicit biases we all have. What better way to grow and learn as advocates and people than to do it together.
This community is open to any RESULTS volunteer who has completed the Diversity & Inclusion 101 training. If you’ve attended this training, you’re invited to be included on our anti-oppression Google listserv, which is how you get emails about how to stay involved with and attend the AO Learning Community meetings. For questions, to be added to the listserv, or to find out about upcoming trainings, please contact Lakeisha McVey at [email protected].
– Friday, July 28 – 12pm to 1:30pm ET Register here.
– Friday, October 20 – 12pm to 1:30pm ET Register here.
