2013 is here and 2012 is fading quickly in the review mirror. But man, what a year! In 2012 RESULTS activists had a hand in some of the biggest global health moments.

To showcase some of the successes of the year, our partners at Population Services International (PSI) put together a list of the “Top 10 Global Health Milestones of 2012” for their Impact magazine. Some milestones were achieved through decades of child survival advocacy, such as halving the child mortality rate and the US committing to ending preventable child deaths globally within a generation. For another milestone, the AIDS 2012 conference in Washington, DC, RESULTS advocates were instrumental in amplifying the message calling for the end of AIDS to members of Congress and the media.

Check out the Top 10 List and the remarks by some of the global health leaders that shepherded the work below. With 2012 under your belt, what do you hope to achieve in 2013 with your anti-poverty work? What do you think will be the biggest global health milestones in 2013?
