Prerequisites: It is recommended to attend Diversity & Inclusion 101 or have some significant background in anti-racism and implicit bias work before attending this workshop.
This workshop will culminate in self-reflection and identifying race and class biases, including marginalized and oppressed populations. Ways in which we can develop multicultural perspectives and interrupt the deleterious effects of racial and class status will be discussed. A brainstorming session will be included to develop the tools necessary to learn to adopt a multicultural perspective of others and the necessary insight into race and class and ways to counterbalance their effects on the lack of equity in the U.S. Register here.
Note: RESULTS anti-oppression meetings, workshops, and webinars are not recorded, so we encourage you to attend if you register. The Anti-Oppression workshops listed above limit 40 participants per session. Please register to reserve your spot!
