RESULTS: creating the public and political will to end hunger and the worst aspects of poverty The Microcredit Summit Campaign is a project of RESULTS Educational Fund, working to ensure that 175 million of the world’s poorest families, especially the women of those families, are receiving credit for self-employment and other financial and business services by the end of 2015 and that 100 million families rise above the US$1 a day threshold between 1990 and 2015. The Advocacy to Control Tuberculosis Internationally (ACTION) project is an international partnership of advocates working to mobilize resources to treat and prevent the spread of tuberculosis (TB), a global disease that kills one person every 20 seconds. ACTION’s underlying premise is that more rapid progress can be made against the global TB epidemic by building increased support for resources for effective TB control among key policymakers and other opinion leaders in both high TB burden countries (HBCs) and donor countries. |
