As You Mix and Mingle This Season, Mention RESULTS!
While you enjoy holiday gatherings, conversations will inevitably move to topics like what you all have been up to all year long. Why not invite your conversation partner to check out RESULTS? They can check out our blog and be inspired, donate in your honor (instead of giving you another holiday sweater like they did last year), or sign up for a RESULTS Introductory Call and get to know us better. You can also print a couple of RESULTS brochures and have them on hand to share. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm for RESULTS during this season of great cheer!
A Few Final Details to Finish the Year
Before you crack into that eggnog, report your group’s activities for the year! We want to capture every media piece, meeting, and event that our fantastic grassroots groups have accomplished in 2011. You can report lobby meetings with our handy online form, and you can record all other activity on our benchmark form, also online. You can also anticipate 2012 group planning materials, which will be available soon after the office reopens for the new year on January 3. (Contact Lisa Marchal with any questions.)
Also, mark the first 2012 national conference call on your calendar now! We’ll gather on Saturday, January 14 at 2:00 pm ET. Just gather your group and dial in to (888) 409-6709.
We Are Thankful for Your Fundraising Generosity
We wish to extend our deepest gratitude and congratulations to all our event fundraisers this year. You organized everything from birthday parties to celebrity dinners and inspired a whopping $214,000 in donations and monthly sponsorships! That’s more than $45,000 more than last year’s total! We’re so grateful for the dedication you have to increasing our impact and helping millions more people who need us. This money truly lets us go where other organizations don’t, and we never forget it. We cannot thank you enough as we close out 2011.
