National Public Radio: Rejection by the king of Nepal was not the end of the road

Kul Chandra Gautam, Chair of the Board for RESULTS and RESULTS Educational Fund, was profiled on National Public Radio. Gautam, former Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF and Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, talked about growing up in Nepal and his life-long commitment to ending poverty.

“You do whatever you can do. It’s not one versus the other,” he said. “We vaccinate people, we also work on poverty reduction, we also work on girls’ education, we work on multiple fronts.”
