Getting Started
Welcome to RESULTS! We are so glad that you are interested in becoming a RESULTS volunteer advocate. We could not leverage millions of dollars for anti-poverty programs in the United States and abroad without the vital advocacy from our grassroots activists. Here are a few key things to help you get started:
- If you have not yet already, make sure you sign-up here to learn more about volunteering and be invited to attend a New Advocate Orientation.
- Once you’ve attended an orientation, you can decide to join a local chapter or the Free Agents program. Make sure you get connected with RESULTS!
- Review our New Advocate Checklist to get you started. This will help you make sure you are staying up to date with RESULTS campaigns and learn about all that RESULTS has to offer our volunteers.
- Learn the critical advocacy skills using our New Advocate Training. This will give you a great overview of the skills you’ll employ as a RESULTS volunteer and set you up for success as an advocate.
