DESCRIPTION:The webinar on being a grassroots board member at RESULTS would focus on the experience of engaging in advocacy and grassroots efforts through the organization. RESULTS is a nonprofit that empowers individuals to advocate for policies that alleviate poverty\, and board members at the grassroots level play a vital role in driving this mission forward. During the webinar\, participants will learn about the responsibilities of a board member. The emphasis will also be on the collaborative nature of the work\, as grassroots board members work alongside other advocates and staff to create meaningful change. Attendees will gain insight into what is required to be a board member and challenges that come with being involved in such a transformative mission\, as well as how they succeed in their roles.
