Going to the RESULTS International Conference in July? As you schedule and report your lobby visits, coordinate with your group members, and practice your best karaoke song, don’t forget to also read up on RESULTS’ global poverty campaigns and policy goals. The 2013 Global Legislative Handbook is here! The handbook is meant for both new and veteran activists, to help you learn about or re-familiarize yourself with each of our three priority global campaigns: Education for All, Global Health, and Microfinance. Each section includes background and political context on the issue, any current legislative requests (more will be added to the list as the conference nears), and stories and other resources.

We recommend that you read through the handbook before you travel to D.C. for the International Conference. Once you get here, staff can answer questions and you can maximize time with your group to prepare for your lobby visits. We hope it’s helpful!
