RESULTS founder Sam Daley-Harris just completed a 23 city tour on the release of the 20th anniversary edition of Reclaiming Our Democracy: Healing the Break Between People and Government. He told students on 15 college campuses that RESULTS was started 33 years ago after he asked 7,000 high school students to name of their member of Congress and fewer than 3 percent could do so. Then, 35 years later, he asked the students on the 15 campuses to name their member of Congress and only 10 percent could do so, demonstrating the ongoing need for working with people to excercise their political power.

Excerpts from the two new chapters of his book can be found in a piece in Tikkun. On the tour Daley-Harris did 37 interviews, including one on KPFK's Uprising in Los Angeles. He authored an op-ed that was published in the Austin American Statesman and three other newspapers. Daley-Harris urged people to participate in RESULTS, Citizens Climate Lobby, and The Peace Alliance. Daley-Harris' TEDx talk “Purpose, Poverty, Pitfalls and Redemption” is now nearing 10,000 views.
